Whiskey waltzes and a touch of madness.

Act I · The First Single

The Chimp Grinders Wind Piano

Echoing through the tattered tent of the damned. Accordion screams. Drumbeats of doom. A melody that dances with madness.

Enter the carnival. Not everyone comes back the same…

Act II · Coming to a Town Near You

The Tent Goes Up

We travel with an accordion, a boiler that runs a little hot, and very little sense of direction.

Intermission · The Story

Who Are These People

Two brothers and the next generation: Jason Rowe, his brother Adam, and Adam's son Mitch. A multi-generational trio blending old-world charm with a dark carnival twist, and, as the band tells it, it all began with Hank, the accordion-playing grandfather. Somewhere along the way the polka wandered too far from the dance hall and came back with dust on its boots, brass in its fittings, and something in its accordion.

Every so often they slip behind the velvet curtain and into the studio. Recorded at Warm Glow Studios. Madison, Wisconsin. Hollow Parlour Records.

Keeping Polka Wild Since Day One

Jason Rowe

Accordion

I've been playing polka since I was 10 years old. I'm 50 now... At some point, somebody has to write the next polka. So that's what we're trying to do.
